Prosper alias John was born in Moshi, Tanzania in 1995. From 2018 to 2020 Prosper worked as a performing artist and choreographer in the Ibuka Dance Foundation in Arusha, dancing contemporary dance mixed with African dance. Between 2019 and 2020 Prosper joined big dance shows on festivals like the Tigo Fiesta Festival in Moshi, the Wasafi Festival in Arusha and the Arusha Festival. In April 2021 Prosper completed an intense Dance and Music Training at the Cultural Arts Centre in Arusha, which focused on the traditional African dance and music. Now Prosper is founder and member of an independent dance organisation called FTS (From The Streets), performing on events. FTS combines dance skills of African traditional dance, modern Afro dance, breakdance and elements of contemporary dance.
